NodeOps has enjoyed a strong start to 2025 with an incredible response from the community to our Atlas Network incentivized Testnet campaign. The response to the Proof of Concept Cloud marketplace has been so overwhelming that we are thrilled to announce that NodeOps is committed to bringing this service in-house and launching our Mainnet Cloud Marketplace in 2025.
Join us as we take a deep dive into what NodeOps Network does, who we do it for, and celebrate the potential of the year ahead.
What is NodeOps?
NodeOps is the leading general-purpose DePIN orchestrator.
Behind the scenes, NodeOps works tirelessly to ease how you code and deploy Apps, AI, and blockchain technologies; while our AI-powered monitoring ensures that your node operations remain reliable. Our mission is to enhance the builder experience so that users and developers remain focused on what matters. NodeOps’ service offerings include:
NodeOps Console: The original Node-as-a-Service ecosystem (NaaS) and dashboard: a node runner subscription model that launched NodeOps as a revenue-positive business from year 1.
Retail Console: For non-technical node runners, NaaS — offering a no-code node deployment dashboard serving a diverse blockchain ecosystem.
B2B service: For Web3 and blockchain protocols looking to bootstrap. The Console provides a launchpad enabling protocols to incentivize users to become node runners.
NodeOps Cloud: In Testnet: Mainnet coming soon! Permissionless DePIN marketplace: allowing anyone to provide, purchase, deploy, and manage verifiable generalized compute.
NodeOps Validator: Institutional grade B2B node operations.
What is NodeOps Network?
So, what is the Network that NodeOps develops and operates? NodeOps Network is the leading chain-agnostic, AI-powered DePIN Orchestration layer for general-purpose compute, economically secured by Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVS). NodeOps Network provides the economic security to the DePIN compute powering all of NodeOps’ products and services. NodeOps Foundation, comprising $NODE holders, will become the governance layer for NodeOps Network.
At the start of 2025, NodeOps investigated the product: market fit for a Cloud marketplace that allows compute providers and consumers to benefit from NodeOps Network’s verifiable, high-availability, economically secure, generalized compute infrastructure: allowing anyone to provide, purchase, deploy, and manage verifiable compute. This investigation was called the Atlas Network Testnet campaign and it was such a success that the NodeOps team is committed to making this a Mainnet reality in 2025.
Why 2025 is the year for DePIN Node Compute
Cloud compute is a well-established, expanding, and high-earning vertical, with over $300 billion in revenue in the 12 months leading up to November 2024. Most of that revenue is channeled to just 3 major players. This means that cloud compute consumers have to choose between the risks associated with vendor lock-in or the challenges associated with compute resource offerings provided by the smaller players.
Not least of these challenges is enforcing an SLA (service level agreement). When you run critical infrastructure in the cloud, you need to know that your compute provider has the chops to keep those services live. NodeOps Network’s verifiable, DePIN orchestration layer allows compute providers to verifiably demonstrate the resilience of the service they provide to compute consumers.
Via the Marketplace, NodeOps Cloud enables consumers such as blockchains, applications, and protocols to easily access the permissionless, decentralized, affordable, and secure compute they need. This brings immediate relief from the challenges of the status quo cloud compute model; compute consumers can:
Enhance resilience and disaster recovery by quickly and easily distributing workloads across different providers.
Avoid the technical debt associated with being tied to proprietary services.
- Leverage the marketplace’s flexibility to benefit from the strengths of different providers.
NodeOps Network offers to transform the traditional compute consumption model by implementing the best that blockchain technology has to offer: decentralized, tamper-proof protocols. NodeOps Network enforces the integrity of compute providers in the Marketplace with its Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVS). This ensures that compute providers are incentivized to meet their SLAs through automated rewards and penalties: all verifiably monitored and enforced via the NodeWatch Network.
What is NodeOps Cloud and who is it for?
NodeOps Cloud is for businesses that provide compute and consumers that need compute.
NodeOps Network orchestrates this generalized cloud marketplace acting like a matchmaker between compute providers and compute consumers—whether they will use the compute for low-demand App, dApp, or node operations; or high-demand AI, ML, or data modeling.
NodeOps Network’s cloud marketplace allows providers to sell generalized, permissionless, multi-region DePIN compute whose integrity is enforced with NodeOps Networks' Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVS) to a global user base. Now anyone can provide, purchase, deploy, and manage verifiable, multi-region, orchestrated compute. The NodeOps Network orchestrator shifts power away from centralized entities and offers participants the following key services:
Permissionless orchestration
NodeOps Network enables a decentralized, permissionless layer for compute orchestration. No middleman controls who provides or consumes compute.
Resilience and reliability
By leveraging strong scheduling and node score derivations, NodeOps Cloud ensures robust operational reliability by strict slashing. It mitigates risks associated with centralized failures and promotes fault tolerance.
Demand-driven Marketplace
NodeOps Network’s NodeOps Cloud Marketplace facilitates seamless interaction between compute providers and consumers. This demand-driven model optimizes resource utilization and ensures scalability.
AI-powered containerization and agentic approach
With AI-powered containerization, NodeOps Cloud builds on the foundation developed by the experienced [NodeOps](nodeops.xyz) team, to offer dynamic, intelligent deployment environments that can autonomously adapt to various workflows and integrate seamlessly with agent-driven systems.
Integrated economic security
NodeOps Network leverages AVS, an incentivization mechanism that enables projects to create custom staking pools tailored to their network’s needs. This not only improves economic alignment but also enhances the overall security of the blockchain component of the ecosystem.
2025: The Year of Decentralized Compute — NodeOps Network
2025 is the year when NodeOps Network demonstrates what an open and fair ecosystem for compute providers and consumers looks like. Our incentivized Testnet campaign Atlas Network was tremendously popular among the wider community, with 85k+ machines onboarded and 280k+ Testnet participants.
This is how we are working to broaden NodeOps Network’s impact and reach.
Expand the ecosystem: Bring all the Atlas Network questers into the NodeOps family and continue to scale the compute providers and onboard more diverse participants.
Performance & Security: Aim to have at least 1 Million CUs (Compute Units) Under Management, and focus on building a strong compute utilization rate of more than 70%.
Enhance AVS mechanisms: Roll out advanced staking pools and shared security mechanisms to ensure network resilience.
Diversify the use cases: Launch NodeOps Network Mainnet as a general-purpose DePIN: pushing adoption across AI workflows, gaming, blockchain, and media.
And, there will soon be a new product announcement, more on that later!
Building from a solid foundation
As NodeOps Network builds on its strong foundation, it’s poised to redefine the way we think about decentralized compute. By addressing the inefficiencies of traditional infrastructure and unlocking new possibilities for AI, gaming, blockchain ecosystems, and beyond, NodeOps is driving the evolution of AI, App, and Web3 infrastructure.
